Unfortunatley I have not seen your previous blogs, but what I see here is just an ordinary function-oriented decomposition that is focusing purely on algorithmic optimization. If you do that function by function you will end in many similar things but as they are done function by function they will not be converged into a whole. This was one of the reasons why the object-oriented mindset came into light many years back.
I know that many control engineers call this “function architecture” but I would call it a “function design”, and I wonder what’s the architetcural aspect in this? As Grady Booch said many years back, “Architecture is design, but all design is not architetcure”.
ISO 42010 definition of architecture: ⟨system⟩ fundamental concepts or properties of a system in its environment embodied in its elements, relationships, and in the principles of its design and evolution.
